What you will be doing
Maintain the solution capabilities, features, and functionality roadmap, and clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes throughout Data & Platforms and BioPharma Services.
Recruit, lead and develop a team of product managers, product owners, and business analysts helping to develop their craft and career paths.
Support business growth and successfully achieve and surpass revenue, profitability, and business goals and objectives.
Establish and direct ongoing Pharma Affordability solution development, market expansion, and implement client satisfaction based on measurable goals and key performance indicators.
Work cross-functionally with Biopharma Services (BPS) functional leaders and other Cencora business leaders to implement processes and controls that lead to execution excellence and strong financial performance.
Maintain an industry-wide perspective on major trends, including macro-economic, customer, regulatory, technology, product and competitive trends; identify implications for BPS Solutions.
Optimize relevant partner relationships and integrations; lead the effort to identify and evaluate future partners based on differentiating capabilities and strategic alignment with BPS Solutions.
Direct product managers to effectively collaborate with Engineering, Development and Data teams to build, test, and deliver technology products in a fast-paced environment;
Support and participate in the development of relevant marketing and promotional materials and participate as required in industry trade events, client meetings, or other virtual or live meetings.
Directly engage with strategic account management, key account management, global pharma services colleagues, solution sales, and client delivery to support new sales growth, customer satisfaction and industry recognition of a best in class capability.
Serve as the subject matter expert on data analytics, patient access and affordability, co-pay, hub services and integrated technologies.
Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
Performs other related duties as may be required.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad and deep experience in the pharmacy industry, business administration, and sales. Completion of a college degree highly preferred. Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive experience in pharmaceutical industry with a specific emphasis on trade, channel and pharmacy trends and operating assumptions
Strong strategic thinker with proven financial modelling, decision support, and tactical execution capabilities to drive financial results
Ability to understand and solve complex problems and to clearly explain problems and solutions across the business unit and to executive leadership.
Demonstrated history of operating as a business leader or manager and ability to make informed and insightful decisions.
Superior organizational, integration, implementation and management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to varied audiences
Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
