What you will be doing

The Strategic Account Manager for TRIOSE, a newly acquired Cencora business unit, is responsible for account management, growth, and stability of company clients designated as “strategic.” This position is responsible to build and maintain multi-level relationships with key stakeholders and to promote and sell all products, solutions and services.

Manage and grow assigned strategic account portfolio

This is a remote position that will support customers throughout the United States. The Strategic Account Manager will travel up to 50%.

  • Generate new product sales

  • Targets new product sales within assigned accounts

  • Consistently participates in all leading and lagging indicators as measured by the sales dashboard

  • Target new logo opportunities when possible, through referrals or as prescribed by the Director of Sales. The expectation is a focus on assigned strategic accounts

  • Sends approved marketing communications and approved follow-up materials to qualified prospects

  • Develops and maintains region territory plan

  • Participates in training as required by the company

  • Manages individual expenses

  • Utilizes Challenger Sales Methodology and other available technology and tools

  • Participates in sales training as required by the company

  • Responsible for managing the accounts receivables for his/her clients

  • Facilitates all necessary information, forms, etc. to assist company's staff for implementation of new clients

  • Maintains positive working relationships with all employees, management, clients, and business partners

  • Performs any and all other functions and other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Sales and the VP of Sales

What your background should look like

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in successful client account management and / or selling solutions and services

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent experience required

  • Must have experience interfacing with clients, vendors, and customer organizations at all levels including “C” Suite

  • Experience in Relationship Management with strategic accounts

  • Experience in region account planning and execution required

  • Advanced knowledge of and experience working with hospital and health system management, procurement, Group Purchasing Organizations, hospital suppliers, contracting and materials management preferred

  • Experience in freight and logistics management preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

$84,400 - 120,890

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
