What you will be doing

Job Title - CD Room Clerk

Location - Coatbridge ML5

Working Hours - 30 hours per week; Monday to Friday 10am-3pm, Sunday 9am-2pm

Rate - £12.56 per hour

Job Purpose:

Whilst on duty in the CD Room it is the responsibility of the CD Operative to ensure that CD procedures are observed at all times.

All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP – REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.

Key Accountabilities

  • The security of the CD room and its keys.
  • The accuracy of assembling, checking and packing all orders.
  • The maintenance of assembling, checking and packing all orders.
  • The immediate reporting of discrepancies or other problems as they arise.
  • The supervision of all visitors to the CD room.
  • A stock check must be completed before and after each assembly period.
  • Ensuring all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports are produced according to Home Office requirements.
  • All housekeeping procedures are maintained.
  • Responsible for ensuring all file information, on disk, is secure in fire proof safe at all times.

Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable

MANUAL HANDLING

It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
