As the Senior Manager, Business Analytics and Insights you will be regularly communicating and interactin with the BU Marketing and Sales leadership to understand brand strategy and sales objectives. They also partner with BU and peer analytics and insights stakeholders to gain insights and understanding of market activity and trends, market access strategy, customer engagement, and marketing tactic impact. The Business Analytics and Insights role coordinates with commercial functions to provide key analytical and market insights and make strategic recommendations to support business growth in the competing market.

Provides weekly updates to key stakeholders on brand and launch performance to find key trends or issues that may impact the business.
Helps identify and build data and metric requirements by establishing relevant KPIs and ensuring regular tracking and reporting.
Coordinates and ensures weekly reporting for assigned BU is completed accurately and delivered on time.
Coordinates and collaborates with Data Science & Strategy team to conduct ad hoc analyses and engages with commercial leadership to build routine analyses.
Is an integral partner to BU in providing product strategic planning support and key analytics, data and operational support to BU head and key stakeholders.
Proactively provides strategic thought partnership to BU stakeholders, brand leads, and sales director about HCPs, patients, and payers.
Actively participates in brand team meetings and is seen as a trusted partner
Establishes a strong culture in shared accountability, collaboration and vision that further strengthens the interactions and partnership with our internal partners.
Blends analytical, marketing, sales, and TA expertise and coordinate with key functions - data science, market research, and market access - to bring forward key insights and provides actionable recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Leverages expertise in data analytics, therapeutic area, and deep knowledge of field and market intelligence to contribute to insight generation.
Understands and consistently assesses drivers and evolution of respective markets or customer groups.
Provides clear and concise visibility into the specific factors that affect execution, patient access, and brand performance.
Proactively conducts pull-through analytics for Market Access to ensure the organization maximizes opportunities.
Partners with Data Science team to develop forecasting models for brands to ensure predictive analytics are available for brand planning and sales forecasts.
Leverages primary and secondary data and CI to generate actionable market insights, provide BU/brand strategy support, measure marketing impact, and manage brand performance tracking.
Deliver weekly updates to senior leadership on brand performance.
Establish relevant KPIs and ensure regular tracking and reporting.
Hold regular touchpoints with key stakeholders to understand business needs and manage customer expectations.
Contribute to key Analytics and Insights collaborative deliverables such as the State of the Business, Mid-Month forecast, and Specialty Pharmacy report.
Collaborates with Market Access Strategy, Market Research, and Omnichannel/Patient leads to elevate insights of monthly business unit KPI reviews.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, finance, statistics, or a related field. MBA / advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, forecasting, or relevant experience in a consulting firm.
US specialty market and launch experience preferred.
Excellent influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and interact at multiple levels of the organization, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive decisions that lead to positive business outcomes.
Strong analytical, business acumen, and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to socialize relevant insights and takeaways more broadly and influence business decisions and priorities.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and external factors influencing market dynamics.
Highly developed communication skills with the ability to story-tell using data and influence executive leadership in a way that can bridge the gaps among multiple stakeholders (technical and non-technical) at varying levels.
Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, and working with cross-functional teams.
Mastery of pharmaceutical industry data sources such as Prescription, APLD, Non-retail, Hospital and Boutique/SP) required.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
Superior communication skills (verbally and written) and ability to translate analysis for executive-level customers.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute individually and in team settings.

Our Compensation and Benefits
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.
Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
