Ferring is hiring a Director, Talent Acquisition to join the HR team based in our US office in Parsippany, New Jersey. You will be responsible for overall talent acquisition in the US, implementing a compelling employee value proposition, and on-boarding talent. You will play an instrumental role in helping us achieve our vision to attract and hire the most qualified external talents who will contribute to the continued growth of Ferring in the US.

You will play an integral role on the Ferring US HR Team where our commitment to one another is to contribute with our strengths and talents to drive meaningful results and outcomes. You will play a crucial role in both executing tasks as a hands-on team member and providing guidance and mentorship to team members. You will work with and advise our HRBP team and business leaders on overall talent acquisition and ensure talent acquisition services are designed and delivered in a streamlined and effective manner. The scope of the role is focused on the US market, and you will also partner and collaborate with our global HR Talent Acquisition team on special projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead an in-house Talent Acquisition team including hiring and people management responsibilities.

  • Partner and consult with HR, TA Sourcing and the business to understand needs and execute against talent strategies to deliver value and enhance the way we intentionally recruit talent and foster a culture of recruiting excellence.

  • Deliver recruiting services through the team, ensure end-to-end recruitment processes are followed and that KPIs and SLAs are met. Act as the point of escalation in the assigned geography for service delivery issues.

  • Partner with external agencies on selecting permanent leadership, high priority critical roles and temporary workers.

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of the end-to-end onboarding program, ensuring a welcoming new hire experience and a smooth transition into their new role.

  • Ensure Ferring’s Employer Value Proposition is the foundation for the employee and candidate experience.

  • Partner with Communications, develop and maintain social media strategy, develop content for Ferring US career website as well as content that employees can use to elevate and amplify the Ferring brand in their own social media presence.

  • Leverage data and analytics to identify and validate optimal sourcing channels, recruiter and hiring manager effectiveness, quality and efficiency.

  • Benchmark trends and find ways to best assess different talent types (i.e., corporate, technical, commercial roles) through the interview process. Translate assessment insights and new ideas into appropriate plans.

  • Continuously drive improvements through developing and monitoring metrics, managing feedback processes to assess effectiveness and quality.

  • Participate in global projects as a regional talent acquisition leader. Ensure that local needs are captured and reflected in global program design; ensure global projects and program are successfully implemented and put to good use in the region.

  • Ensure that structure and process adhere to recruitment process and government guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent or higher in Business, Human Resources or a related field required.

  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, hands-on recruitment operations experience is required.

  • 3+ years in a healthcare and/or pharmaceutical company preferred.

  • At least 5 years of people management experience in Talent Acquisition, including having developed, trained and mentored junior talent.

  • Experience supporting executive level recruitment and commercial team expansions.

  • Experience effectively managing recruiting vendors required.

  • Familiarity with technology (existing and emerging) to support Talent Acquisition programs and processes (Workday, LinkedIn, ServiceNow).

  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and developing solutions focused on root cause fixes.

  • Ability to drive accountability in a highly collaborative way.

  • Ability to set priorities, drive projects and deliver results in a fast-paced and high growth environment.

  • High level of self-motivation and ownership of work.

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills with the ability to influence.

  • Analytical mindset, proven ability to solve recruitment problems and devise sourcing strategies using data and ability to demonstrate ROI using data and analytics.

  • Proven ability to establish trust and credibility with stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of federal and state recruitment standards and external best practices.

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $136,850 to $195,500, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
