Job Description:

  • Develops & implements territory account plan.

  • Achieves sales objectives (monthly & annually).

  • Ensures call frequency & reach targets are met for assigned physicians.

  • Develops & effectively implements the territory CME and OLA plans.

  • Maintains expenses to assigned budget.

  • Completes daily / weekly / monthly reports (call recording, communication, expense, sample requisitions, etc.) to time requirements.

  • Collaborates with MSL’s & other regional team members to achieve objectives.

  • Intake and reporting of complaints and adverse reaction reports (ADRs) to the appropriate Ferring Canada team, as per the current reporting procedures.

  • Develops & maintains business relationships with HCP’s in the territory; providing customer service / assistance as required.

  • Collaborates with marketing, business intelligence and medical regarding territory insights, field intelligence and idea sharing.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (minimum requirements for the job) – includes equivalents:

EDUCATION

  • University degree, or equivalent post-secondary education

  • Academic background in a related scientific discipline: biology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, etc., or business, is preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the pharmaceutical sector, medical device, or related healthcare industry.

  • Experience in Gastroenterology therapeutic area is an asset

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Valid driver’s license is required

  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
