The Information Technology Project Manager is tasked with leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing projects in alignment with the specified requirements, deadlines, and budgets. This role involves driving the execution and operationalization of all assigned projects, adhering to established project management methodologies and IT PMO processes. The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining project charters and objectives, creating schedules, and providing oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee assigned IT projects to ensure they adhere to established budgets, schedules, and scopes.
- Understand, comply and execute all assigned projects, tasks and activities in full alignment with Ferring company standards including relevant SOP's and relevant GxP Compliance requirements. Support entities during Health Authority inspections as required.
- Proposal Development: Create, update and revise project proposals to outline objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing requirements.
- Milestone Tracking: Set, monitor, and track project milestones: address and manage unforeseen delays, adjusting schedules and expectations accordingly.
- Communication: Develop and implement communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed. Provide regular status updates to team members and stakeholders.
- Reporting: Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare comprehensive project status reports.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct and guide strategic analysis to support project objectives.
- Project Phases Management: Coordinate and manage all project phases to ensure timely completion.
- Team Coordination: Assemble and coordinate project team members, assigning individual responsibilities to ensure cohesive team effort.
- Technology Maintenance: Update and maintain all production technologies, ensuring their proper maintenance and installation.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
- 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical or med-device industry regulated work
- Project Management Knowledge: Proven understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project, and familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a track record of establishing effective guidelines for others.
- Leadership: Strong sense of personal accountability in decision-making and team supervision.
- Collaboration: Experience in a high-level collaborative environment, fostering a teamwork mentality.
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address obstacles.
- Additional Skills: Experience with ERP & MES systems, IT room build-out projects, and PMP certification is a plus.

Our Compensation and Benefits
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.
Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, 40 hours of sick time, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 150 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 187.50 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
