Ferring+You

You will be responsible for generating sales revenue through the management of a defined business territory. In addition, they are responsible for building appropriate relationships with, and calling on, targeted Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs) within their therapeutic area - Gastroenterology, as dedicated TBMs to promote / detail assigned products to achieve territory business objectives, as well as gathering field intelligence and collaborating with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Business Intelligence.

Your day at Ferring

  • Develops & implements territory account plan.

  • Achieves sales objectives (monthly & annually).

  • Ensures call frequency & reach targets are met for assigned physicians.

  • Develops & effectively implements the territory CME and OLA plans.

  • Maintains expenses to assigned budget.

  • Completes daily / weekly / monthly reports (call recording, communication, expense, sample requisitions, etc.) to time requirements.

  • Collaborates with MSL’s & other regional team members to achieve objectives.

  • Intake and reporting of complaints and adverse reaction reports (ADRs) to the appropriate Ferring Canada team, as per the current reporting procedures.

  • Develops & maintains business relationships with HCPs in the territory; providing customer service / assistance as required.

  • Collaborates with marketing, business intelligence and medical regarding territory insights, field intelligence and idea sharing.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

  • University degree, or equivalent post-secondary education with a related scientific discipline: biology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, etc., or business, is preferred

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the pharmaceutical sector, medical device, or related healthcare industry.

  • Experience in Gastroenterology therapeutic area is an asset

  • Strong selling skills with demonstrated results

  • Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced interpersonal skills

  • Strong receptiveness to coaching and feedback

  • Self-directed and driven to accomplish goals and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment

  • High degree of ethical behaviour

  • Valid driver’s license is required

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills in French and English

  • Preferred location - Montreal
