Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radioconjugates (RCs) as precision medicines. Fusion connects alpha particle emitting isotopes to various targeting molecules to selectively deliver the alpha emitting payloads to tumors. Fusion’s clinical portfolio includes: FPI-2265 targeting prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) for metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer currently in a Phase 2 trial; FPI-1434 targeting insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor currently in a Phase 1 trial; FPI-2059, a small molecule targeting neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1), currently in a Phase 1 trial; and FPI-2068, a bispecific IgG-based EGFR-cMET targeted radioconjugate currently in a Phase 1 trial. In addition, Fusion is pursuing combination programs between RCs and DNA Damage Response Inhibitors (DDRis) and immune-oncology agents. Fusion has a fully operational Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant state-of-the-art radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility to meet supply demand for Fusion's growing pipeline of RCs.

The Role: As the Associate Director, Supply Chain Lead at Fusion Pharmaceuticals, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations to support our clinical-stage operations and future commercialization efforts. This role will report to the VP, Supply Chain and Logistics.

Responsibilities:

Help develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Fusion Pharma's business goals and objectives, in collaboration with the VP of Supply Chain and Logistics and other supply chain team members. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Quality, Technical Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure robust and standardized supply chain processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Manage supply chain-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products to meet customer needs.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain operations, and aid in audit readiness.

Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices to keep Fusion Pharma's supply chain at the cutting edge. Leverage knowledge in industry standards to prepare Fusion’s commercial capabilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Proven track record of successfully leading supply chain operations and driving process improvements.

Strong understanding of GMP regulations and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
