We are seeking a bilingual Embryology Specialist who is passionate about supporting clients across South America. You will possess an understanding of IVF (In vitro fertilization) laboratory processes and equipment, as well as enjoy customer interactions and a change of pace from the lab. This role reports into the Head of Clinical Embryology and Scientific Operations and will be a key member of the team facilitating our growth and competitive advantage in the South American market. Responsibilities:
- Building and owning the embryology relationship with our clients to ensure successful and quick onboarding of the lab with our products. Key activities includes:
- Understanding of client’s lab set-up (lab equipment and culture types) and gathering pertinent details and images
- Manage lab installation and onboarding process including preparing training materials
- Reviewing and addressing product image quality during client training
- Reviewing clinic reports and providing quality assurance
- Ongoing technical support for product usage
- Sharing current abstracts, publications, sample reports, and other training material with clinics
- Answering, tracking & escalating customer queries as appropriate (lab, protocol or report related)
- Utilizing CRM and Customer Service ticketing software to manage client relationships and queries
- Supporting month end invoicing by providing insights on client product usage
- Developing new client customer support materials as needed
- Assisting with scientific literature searches, contributing to research discussions and scientific thought leadership
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus
- BSc (or MSc) in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or similar
- Understanding of microscopes, IVF lab equipment, basic lab skills
- 2+ years experience as an Embryologist or similar lab/health technologist background
- Passionate about IVF, Women’s health, Femtech
- Strong computer skills (MS office365, SharePoint, Outlook, CMR systems, Teams)
- Experience working with ZenDesk and Salesforce is a bonus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Friendly and customer centric
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via email, conference calls and in person
- Strong organization, attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent team player and ability to work cross functionally
- Fast learner with basic problem-solving skills
- Possess core biology/clinical embryology knowledge
