Job Description

Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.

Arcadis Kelowna office is searching for a Project Manager to join its growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to take the lead on various projects including highrise, mixed-use, multifamily developments. In addition, see work through all project stages: design through construction. To be successful in this role it requires a excellent comprehension of building science and strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

In Engineering, you'll create some of the world’s most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening up public places that bring people together.

Role accountabilities:

  • Coordinating sub-consultant engineers and and oversee the production of technical working drawings
  • Work on multiple projects at the same time and/or lead team to complete each project
  • Direct team members relating to document production to complete a project through all phases - design through CA
  • Working directly with client and consultant team to effectively deliver projects, responsible for communication to ensure all information is incorporated into project requirements
  • Good working knowledge of local bylaws, codes and relevant planning materials
  • Accountable for quality control, project execution, maintaining timelines and budgets
  • Role includes contract administration, field services, in addition to preparing meeting minutes and project schedules

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in with Architecture
  • Registered with or eligible to register with AIBC
  • 5 years of project coordination within a related field
  • Experience working within teams in a similar capacity; providing support to multiple projects
  • Experience in maintaining project documentation, particularly project management tracking tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to communicate effectively and follow up with staff at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent professional and proposal writing skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Highly collaborative and a strong team player
  • Experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project, MS SharePoint (desirable)
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Indesign and various graphic software

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $98,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
