Job Description

Arcadis’ Vancouver office is looking for an Intermediate Intern Architect/Architect to join its Commercial/Institutional team. You will be working on design and construction documents for commercial, institutional, retail, and educational projects. Your architectural experience, collaborative nature, attention to detail and proficiency with Revit will help you succeed in the role. You should be capable of working independently on small projects and as part of a team on medium to larger size projects.

Our Vancouver office has over 300 team members working in architecture, interior design, placemaking and providing engineering services. We have been delivering award winning projects for over fifty years in British Columbia.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Work on multiple projects at the same time and support/lead small to intermediate size teams to complete each project
  • Work collaboratively with all team members
  • Prepare documents in all project phases including design and working drawings in Revit
  • Prepare client presentations and participate in user group meetings
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and clients
  • Opportunity to gain construction administration experience including assisting with the review of shop drawings, preparation of site instructions and participation in onsite reviews
  • Hybrid working environment

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of four to five (4 to 5) years related architectural experience in British Columbia
  • Registered as an Intern Architect/Architect with AIBC or eligible to register imminently
  • Graduate of a Canadian University (or equivalent) professional Architectural degree
  • Strong working knowledge/skills in producing design and construction documents in Revit
  • Experience in Institutional, Commercial, Retail and Educational projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and proactive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
