Job Description
Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.
Join our awarded Transit team as a Intermediate Architect - Transit Facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a fast-paced, driven team with a proven success record in both design and technical excellence! The successful candidate will offer experience being involved in large complex building projects end to end along with strong working drawings and BIM delivery – this will be imperative. You will have hands-on experience with detailed drawings and implementation through BIM platforms.

Role accountabilities:
- Design, Design Development
- Develop architectural working drawing packages.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants
- Support the project manager on field services and construction administration.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at an architectural firm
- Strong hands-on experience with architectural design, design development and construction drawings
- Strong hands-on experience with developing of architectural working drawings
- Expertise with Revit Architecture, Revit Structure & Revit MEP as demonstrated by sophisticated use of software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team-based working environment and for teaching others
- Excellent planning and organization skills required for fast-paced projects
- Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
- Adaptable, agile, and open to accepting design challenges
- Experience with Transit Facility design will be considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $91,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
