Job Details

Principales Fonctions et Responsabilités:

  • Soyez toujours courtois et utile aux clients et aux destinataires de World Courier.
  • Ramassez et livrez les marchandises sur demande.
  • S’assurer que les documents requis sont remplis par le client ou le destinataire.
  • Utiliser l’initiative et anticiper les problèmes qui peuvent survenir avec les livraisons.
  • Tenir l’agent de répartition au courant de l’avancement des livraisons et de tout retard.
  • Conduisez prud’en toute sécurité et prenez soin des véhicules de l’entreprise.
  • Composez les boîtes pour les envois au besoin.
  • Surveillez les matériaux d’emballage et informez le superviseur des opérations lorsque le stock est faible.
  • Soyez prêt à faire des heures supplémentaires pendant les périodes de pointe.
  • Demandez des tâches supplémentaires pendant les périodes de calme.
  • Droits d’aéroport selon les directives (y compris l’importation et l’exportation).
  • Travailler les week-ends périodiques comme inscrit sur la liste.
  • Maintenir un stock abondant de matériaux d’emballage et d’étiquettes

Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Always be courteous and helpful to World Courier customers and consignees.
  • Pick up and deliver goods as requested.
  • Ensure required paperwork is completed by customer/consignee.
  • Use initiative and anticipate problems that may occur with deliveries.
  • Keep Dispatch Officer informed of progress of deliveries and any delays.
  • Drive safely and take care of company vehicles.
  • Make up boxes for shipments as required.
  • Monitor packaging materials and advise Operations Supervisor when stock is running low.
  • Be prepared to work overtime during busy times.
  • Request additional duties during quiet times.
  • Airport duties as directed (including import and export).
  • Work periodic weekends as rostered.
  • Maintain abundant stock of packaging materials and labels

Exigences Minimales en Matière de Compétences, de Connaissances et de Capacités:

  • Permis de conduire actuel.
  • Bon dossier de conduite.
  • Bonne connaissance de la région métropolitaine.
  • De manière agréable et proactive avec les clients.
  • Bonne connaissance de la gestion de la chaîne du froid et DG de base
  • Le candidat sélectionné pourrait avoir des contacts quotidiens avec des clients, des patients ou des pairs unilingues anglophones d’équipes interfonctionnelles

Experience And Educational Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements:

  • Current driver's license.
  • Good driving record.
  • Good knowledge of metropolitan area.
  • Pleasant & proactive manner with customers.
  • Good knowledge of cold chain management and basic DG
  • The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
