Job Details
Under general direction of the Hardware Platform Manager, the Installation Supervisor is responsible for the installation of all Micro Weigh systems, Dairy Sanitation systems, and Hardware equipment. Must work in collaboration with the Service team, Sales, and Product Owners. Organizational skills are a must to keep future plans in order. This job will test your ability to think on your feet due to the fluid situation of customer installs. Daily management and development of install team.
- Daily management of the Micro installation process for placing equipment at customer locations. Including working with service team on start up at locations.
- Coordinate with the service team on install schedules.
- Complete all install paperwork including pull list and final install sheets.
- Supervise and lead a staff of Installation Technicians.
- Independent decision making regarding equipment and installation to meet the needs of the customers.
- Effectively communicate processes and changes to customers, installation teams, and service teams.
- Set-up and install computer programs required for equipment at the customer location.
- Prepare and complete documents required for the installation team management processes.
- Troubleshoot equipment used in the production process.
- Ensure inventory management of install team in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Follow and ensure team follows all safety procedures.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor degree, or relevant years of experience within the field of description.
Experience within the agricultural segments which Micro markets its systems is required.
Experience in electrical wiring and plumbing required.
Experience in the use of power tools, volt meters, reading electrical diagrams, setting up computer programs
Valid driver’s license.
Clear driving record.
Skills & Knowledge:

Must be passionate about customer experience and process efficiency
Strong computer skills necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs on occasion
Comfortable operating in a deadline-driven environment
Accurately evaluates the career potential and development needs of others; provides opportunities (training, special assignments, transfers, etc.) for development of skills and knowledge related to current/future jobs; helps set realistic development objectives geared toward the achievement of individual and team goals; instills a sense of personal ownership and accomplishment.
Must be willing to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.
