What you will be doing

Facilitates the efficient management of treasury operations and reports on key treasury metrics to internal and external constituents alike.

  • Forecast and analyze cash flows on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to optimize cash resources, maintain liquidity, reduce interest expense, and set expectations on the organization's free cash flow

  • Investigate forecast variances to help manage day-to-day cash flows, including credit facility utilization and short-term investments, along with administration of ACH transfers, wires, and other treasury functions

  • Monitor inventory levels across the organization, accounting for seasonal and cyclical cash impacts, as well as special deal buys

  • Develop relationships with international business partners to project material cash flows and their impacts on the domestic cash position and free cash flow forecast

  • Design and develop new models to properly capture all cash flows and increase forecast accuracy

  • Create and present projections to teammates, cross functional teams, and senior leadership

  • Communicate with banks, asset managers, and third-party service providers on behalf of the company and its subsidiaries

  • Assist in preparation of net present value analysis and other financial modeling

  • Assist in the implementation of the Treasury Workstation upgrade, including process development, documentation, and team roll out

  • Act as the secondary back up and support for day-to-day cash flow activities including credit facility utilization and short-term investments, along with administration of ACH transfers, wires, and other treasury functions

  • Support annual audit procedures and liaison with management as well as internal and external auditors

  • Develop and maintain written processes and procedures, including those required for disaster recovery

  • Perform additional responsibilities and generate ad hoc analysis reports as needed

What your background should look like

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related field with 5 -7 years of experience in treasury, banking, or accounting. A Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is preferred but not required.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:

  • Manages Finances: Understands the financial implications of various actions; makes effective use of various sources of financial information (e.g., operating reports, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • Administers Effectively: Monitors daily implementation of activities, projects, policies, and procedures; notices errors and gaps; keeps detailed and accurate records; processes paperwork promptly and follows up on important details.

  • Facilitates Work: Provides consistent, clear work direction relative to current priorities; monitors work progress against goals; manages conflicting requirements; removes obstacles; instills a sense of urgency relative to task.

  • Demonstrates Interpersonal Skills: Communicates in an open, straight forward, honest and respectful style; checks for message clarity; understands the effect the communication style has on others, including nonverbal communications; plans for and adapts to the wide variety of communication preferences and needs of others.

  • Manages Time: Establishes realistic priorities; accurately assesses own time requirements for various projects; activities; schedules own time and activities efficiently.
