What you will be doing
The Specialist - Systems & Support role is responsible for coordinating, participating in and assisting with business units’ software support, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems for users, maintenance and development, billing activities and ongoing maintenance of the system tools and program databases. Works with all internal stake holders, technical subject matter experts to successfully resolve technical problems, develop action plans and communicate progress.
Provides technical assistance which includes troubleshooting complex questions and supporting users with system interactions.
Resolves fully and accurately assess and resolve issues related to the system, user access
Responsible for creating and tracking sFTP, CIFS and MoveIT or other IT tickets for business unit which ensures security, integrity, and proper compliance of systems.
Performs or assists in security access audits.
Prepare a detailed project timeline.
Monitor and coordinate the efforts of the entire project team to ensure key milestones are met on time.
Be able to understand healthcare organization workflow processes to Ensure system content is accurate and current and all their functionality, conduct internal and external training.
Participates in programming and testing of software changes and coordinates the development of supporting documentation and user training. Interacts with project sponsors, stakeholders, and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met; responsible for the implementation to ensure
Consults with product management and commercial teams to translate customer and business requirements into technical and procedural design for new or revised applications for enhancements and user performance improvements including flow charts, and programming guidelines.
Hands-on collaboration when managing APIs with integrating pharmacy systems to ensure proper data exchange and functionality.
Analyzes processes and makes recommendations for improving efficiency and assists in creating targeted solutions to address these deficiencies.
Coordinates the effective implementation and support of Change Management, Responsible to coordinate with sales team for client Onboarding, implementation, and launch
Acts in partnership with the accounting department and business unit managers to provide customers timely and accurate invoices and to provide onboarding information or changes to the accounting team.
Lead status meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project makes progress within expectations.
Responsible for following the AmerisourceBergen Policies and Procedures, supports and complies with company’s policies pertaining to HIPAA, ensures the integrity and safeguards protected health information (PHI).
Assists with special projects when requested by management.
Manage the backlog of open items to ensure they are processed or escalated to appropriate team(s).
What your background should look like
Preferred knowledge of information technology, pharmacy care or medical coordination, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two-year associate degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience working with pharmacy support systems with a focus on data integrity, security, and reporting.
Demonstrates the ability to fully and accurately assess and resolve issues related to the system, user access, programs, , activities, reporting, and related functionalities.
Understanding and familiarity with server, network, and computer hardware concepts and functionality
Install and configure hardware and software components
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with ability to think critically and expansively to solve complex technical problems.

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
