What you will be doing
Reporting into the Senior Director, Product Management, the Product Manager, CRM, Access and Affordability position plays a central role in executing our product vision. The position is experienced in product management and possesses a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, The position will work closely with key stakeholders to solidify the plan for each approved product initiative, define high level feature sets and work closely with product owners and BAs in the development of the detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. The Product Manager, CRM, Access and Affordability role will work collaboratively with the development team to deliver highly effective solutions and will manage Product Owners and Business Analysts, ensuring that the team functions effectively and stays true to the product vision. Key focus on CRM, Access and Affordability Service Lines.
Serves as the subject matter expert for patient support services solution and associated product capabilities.
Work with the Senior Director, Product Management on developing new capabilities from ideation to execution including GTM and organizational readiness.
Define scope, prioritize features and functions, and ensure product is being developed to solve the initial market / customer needs that was defined.
Responsible for ensuring delivery is timely with quality and within a defined budget.
Work closely with key stakeholders to solidify the plan for each approved product initiative, define high level feature sets and work closely with product owners and BAs in the development of the detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.
Research, define and communicate user personas at the product / feature level.
Understand user perspectives through stakeholder collaboration, document user processes and ensure technology solutions support the user flows.
Ensure VOC and VOU are appropriately documented, considered and supported through technology solutions.
Work with development team to provide continuous improvement and participate in retrospectives and closely manage development cycles to ensure product development supports the vision and strategy.
Work with the Senior Director, Product Management to communicate vision and epic priorities to the development team.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within operations, delivery teams, and technology to prioritize the scope of features and functions and manage the overall development process, including but not limited to UAT sessions, pilot implementations, operations support for user trainings, and sales enablement.
Develop all appropriate product documentation as needed and work closely with key stakeholders including Operations, Marketing, Sales, etc. in the development of GTM materials and internal training materials.
Participate in all agile ceremonies to ensure product priorities, planning and execution.
Perform related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
Required is a minimum of six (6) years IT and/or related business experience.
Demonstrated an ability to develop strong business relationships, drive innovation, and establish best practices
Prior experience within pharmaceutical industry with a specific emphasis on market access, patient services, payer trends and reimbursement processes - KEY
A minimum of a B.S. degree in Computer Science or the equivalent is required.
Prior experience working on CRM, Access and Affordability Service Lines - highly desired
Demonstrated effective professional communication (written and verbal), presentation skills and training skills.
Ability to think strategically, applying business insight/acumen and demonstrating critical thought in a complex business environment.
Ability to construct a business case that illustrates opportunity and risk accurately based on information available.
Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines; identify additional resource needs as necessary.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision.
Ability to translate customer and market needs into product requirements.
Excellent research skills, with a deep understanding of the market.
Demonstrated product development success in a similar role in a similar industry.
Proven ability to use a data driven approach to backup assumptions and drive actions.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to develop KPIs/OKRs and ensure ongoing process to measure product success.
Ability to work in agile methodology in a rapidly changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to learn and implement new concepts/skills with minimal lead time.
Ability to complete research in a thorough, thoughtful, and comprehensive way that demonstrates understanding and provides strategic insight.
Ability to conceptualize and validate new products and/or product strategies.
Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of budgets, productivity, and other business concepts.
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification preferred or equivalent experience.
