What you will be doing

The Director of New Business Development position is accountable for leading the TRIOSE Field Sales team. This position is responsible for managing the new business development activities of the sales team, traveling with each sales professional on a routine basis and being accountable to the new business sales results for the organization. This role also provides coaching and mentoring in line with the TRIOSE corporate sales methodology to further develop team member’s sales skills as well as using prior sales leadership experience to help close sales.

This position has supervisory responsibilities. This position deals with key company business processes that are unique and confidential. Due to the nature of this position, a non-compete agreement is required.

  • Leads a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed TRIOSE’s Business Unit revenue and growth plans

  • Manages new business relationships and the oversight of all consultations with customers to create profitable business strategies taking into account such factors as customer's vision and goals,

  • Responsible for managing and organizing the RFP, Proposal defense and contract negotiations to secure new business.

  • Develops and implements strategic sales to accommodate national and regional sales

  • Works with the Sales leader and Executive Leadership team to create strategies for growth.

  • Ensures contract deliverables are met and creates potential to expand opportunities across ABSG business units.

  • The ability to collaborate with internal customers to define optimal solution for each business opportunity.

  • Responsible for delivering sales presentations to key customers.

  • Provides feedback, industry knowledge and specific recommendations to Corporate on programs, products, prices and the competition.

  • Regularly monitors and analyzes pipeline reports, product signature and data which are used consistently throughout ABC to target new business opportunities and develop strategies to insure continued success of that growth.

  • Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet sales objectives; must be willing to travel extensively.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

Requires completion of a four year bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a relevant medical discipline. Normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years related and progressively responsible experience within the healthcare /pharma industry

  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics is desired, with a background and experience in selling solutions in the Healthcare Industry preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of, and practical experience in specialty products, service delivery, contracting and finances

  • Ability to learn and understand service offering and operations

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of preparing plans, reports and disseminating information

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative business relationships, internally and externally

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Ability to interpret data specific to specialty products, SPPs and/or Lash Group service levels and identify issues requiring action

  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace

  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to convert abstract ideas into actionable plans

  • Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs

  • Ability to accommodate at least 50% travel.

$118,000 - 181,720

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
