What you will be doing
The Cencora Legal Department is offering law students paid summer intern positions in our legal functio during the summer. As a summer legal intern, you would receive assignments that incorporate various aspects of a legal practice in a global healthcare organization.
This position is “office-flex,” meaning that it is a hybrid or in-office (Conshohocken, PA) and remote work capabilities. Summer legal interns are expected to work in-office at least two days per week.
Start Date: June 3, 2024
End Date: August 9. 2024
Location: Remote or Hybrid (if local to corporate office)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Examples of assignments you might receive include:
Assist attorneys with investigation claims (such as participating in client interviews)
Collect relevant materials in response to inquiries
Assist in the preparation of responses to certain requests
Assist with legal and regulatory research
Assist with aspects of regulatory implementation
Prepare client updates on legal developments
Draft Non-Disclosure Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Service Agreements, and other agreements
Conduct legal research and prepare presentations on timely legal topics
Perform related duties, as assigned
What your background should look like
Experience and Educational Requirements
Currently enrolled in a JD program
Interest in healthcare law and regulatory practice
Excellent academic performance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong research and analytical ability
Superior organization skills and attention to detail
Adept at document sharing and e-signing tools as well as Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
