What you will be doing
Under the direction of the Head of IT Internal Audit, the IT Auditor Manager is responsible for managing internal IT audits and projects that help the business achieve its financial, IT and operational objectives. The role requires the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects using strong analytical skills, flexibility and ingenuity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) are required for this position, as it involves interaction with senior leadership. IT Auditor Manager will be responsible for professional development of its direct reports.
Builds great relationships with executive IT management to delivery Audits and Advisories with assurance and strategic insights.
Ability to succeed and leverage auditors, technology architects and data analytic professionals to deliver high caliber risk focused projects.
Manages IT internal audits throughout all three phases of the project; planning, execution and reporting with execution excellence.
Conducts the open and close audit conferences with senior management credibly and effectively.
Analyzes risks associated with IT processes and layered Cyber controls.
Oversees the team in developing high-quality audit reports, advisories and the storyline for presentation to executive senior management.
Oversees the monitoring and tracking of remediation plans and follow-up actions to validate the implementation of effective and efficient risk mitigations.
Leads and manages team workload, project milestones, and schedules
Coach/mentor/develop team members to perform at a high level, by providing opportunities, communicating expectations, candid and constructive feedback empowering success.
Participates in the annual risk assessment to develop the IT universe for coverage across the enterprise.
Builds and maintains effective relationships with all levels of company associates and outside vendors, and other business-related representatives
Manages and drives initiatives and department projects to enable continual improvement and build successes.
Maintains current knowledge of matters impacting IT, Cencora, and the pharmaceutical industry
Expected travel up to 10-15%
What your background should look like
Requires broad training in fields such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other IT-related vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree. CISA, CISSP, CIPP, CEH, CRISM, PMP, or CFE or MBA is desirable.
Normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related IT audit and cyber security as well as people management experience.
Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations
Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment
Ability to reason logically, analyze data presented, evaluate the impact of information collected, and draw appropriate conclusions
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various level of management.
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Knowledge in relevant information technology field such as, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Windows M365, databases/lakes (Oracle, SQL, Databricks), Cloud Services, 3rd Party hosted services, Patch Management, Application Development, SDLC, Project Management, Firewalls, Business Continuity/ Resiliency, and IT Operations. Experience working with ERP systems is a plus (e.g. SAP)
