What you will be doing

  • Participates in required sales training that continually develops consultative selling skills resulting in improved customer sales productivity.
  • Actively seeks additional training, mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and working knowledge of the HS&SS customers and markets.
  • Develops strong competitive knowledge at both the broad market level (e.g., services provided by competitors) and the specific customer level (e.g., what is the specific competitive environment for this customer) allowing for targeted and appropriate application of Cencora programs/solutions/services.
  • Proficiently complete required learning projects including but not limited to selling solutions, planning and running customer business meetings, and owning customer support projects.
  • Develops and delivers tailored, professional, and impactful presentations to new and existing customers utilizing selling skills as well as other company resources to support strategic customer interactions.
  • Consults on product ideas and uses to customers for enhanced profitability.
  • Demonstrates initiative in their own professional development such as keeping abreast of the industry and its changes by utilizing industry information and company literature.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively across various territories for project and assistance assignment; travels to events such as conferences, national and regional sales meetings.
  • Establishes and maintains a strategic relationship with appropriate level key stakeholders and Cencora.
  • Proactively identifies potential risk(s) associated with initiatives/objectives; implements strategies to mitigate identified risks; manages issue resolution process and reports on results both internally and externally.
  • Gathers customer feedback relative to the overall support experience and provides to the appropriate internal stakeholder for review and consideration.

What your background should look like

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.

A recent or upcoming College Graduate seeking a career in sales preferred

· Ability to work well on an independent basis with strong organizational skills; self-starter

· Willingness to travel and attend regular Cencora trainings

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

· Strong presentation skills

· Strong time management skills; ability to schedule customer appointments in advance

· Demonstrates initiative in their own professional development and business curiosity through keeping abreast of the industry and its changes by utilizing industry information and company literature.

· Must be willing to travel extensively (including overnight travel) within the assigned customer base and geographic territory; travels to events such as conferences, national and regional sales meetings.

· Strong customer service skills

· Strong willingness to learn, including accepting and implementing feedback from various sources

· Capacity to learn from and apply a wide variety of disciplines to Cencora customers

· Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Strong creativity skills; focused and disciplined

· Up-to-date knowledge of presentation software and equipment; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
