What you will be doing

  • Under general direction of the VP, International Compensation & Benefits, the Total Rewards Specialist, will be responsible for managing the planning, delivery, implementation and education related to all compensation & benefit plans & programs across Romania, Czechia and Lithuania.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to actively support compensation and benefit programs at country and regional levels, aligned with global policies.
  • Conducting insightful analyses and reporting to assist managers in making compensation decisions based on the organization's reward strategy.
  • Develop effective relationships with assigned HR Business Partners and business clients and provide them with guidance on global compensation & benefit data and decisions.
  • Coordinating benefit renewals, dealing with vendors, and collaborating with International Senior Manager of Benefits in delivering the International Benefits Strategy
  • Monitoring the local market, participating in surveys, reviewing data, and reporting on compensation and benefit trends.
  • Assisting in developing and delivering training/communications on various Total Rewards Programs
  • Provide support on M&A integration activities as it relates to Total Rewards
  • Assist with budget cost impact calculations, local reporting on the balancing of spend to budgets and provide operational reports to various stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation.
  • Coordinate communication of compensation and benefits information to employees and other HR groups.
  • Administer merit review and pay adjustment processes and bonus plans to ensure compliance with company guidelines.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree program. Requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive international compensation & benefit program management in a consulting or corporate environment. Excellent knowledge of English language (C1 upwards)

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Strong consultative skills

2. Broad understanding of market conditions and statutory requirements across Europe in particular Romania, Lithuania and Czech Republic.

3. Ability to collaborate with others and build trust and credibility and the ability to work in a team environment

4. Ability to create meaningful presentations and present complex material to mid- and senior-level management

5. Strong financial acumen; ability to build enhanced tools used for improved compensation administration practices

6. Advanced analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

7. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

8. Strong attention to detail; strong organizational skills

9. Relationship builder with a proactive, can-do attitude

10. Ability to meet deadlines

11. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint

The position is located in Bucharest, Romania, at the Alliance Healthcare Romania headquarters.
