What you will be doing

#LI-DNI Develop and manage security for multiple Cybersecurity functional area, including Endpoint Detection and Response, Incident Response Automation, Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Deception, IoT/OT devises security, Breach and attack simulation, User entity behavior analytics (UEBA), Next-Generation Security Information and Events Management. Conduct research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies to strengthen controls. Build, maintain and implement cybersecurity, data security and cloud security solutions. Provide engineering support for the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, which includes working with various teams to build automation, playbooks, and parsing data sources so that the data can be ingested into the datalake. Assist in the implementation of enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and standards to meet compliance responsibilities, and interface with business and IT leaders communicating security issues and responding to requests for assistance and information. Provide security briefings to advise on critical issues that may affect the enterprise. Gather reporting, metrics, and key performance indicators for executive review, and share knowledge and experience with information security controls, infrastructure and implementation techniques. Coordinate and manage priorities for the offshore operations and support team and serve as level 3 support. Coordinate all logging and monitoring deployment and validation for DOD (Department of Defense) project. Conduct the daily standup for SIEM team ensuring all data sources are healthy and appropriately groomed. Review progress of automation and playbook development. Attend project meetings and complete assigned tasks for AB & AH project tasks.

What your background should look like

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Analysis, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or other related field and 4 years of experience in any position as principal Linux Operation Systems SME across multiple platforms providing support for deployment of all products on multiple versions of Linux; Must have 2 years of experience building, maintaining and implementing cybersecurity, data security and cloud security solutions; developing and managing security for multiple Cybersecurity functional areas, including Endpoint Detection and Response, Incident Response Automation, Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Deception, IoT/OT devises security, Breach and attack simulation, User entity behavior analytics (UEBA), Next-Generation Security Information and Events Management; and deploying end point protection and MDE, FireEye and Tanium. A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available. Required travel 2-3 times per year for team workshops or conference.
