What you will be doing

#LI-DNI Oversee Enterprise IT Data management & Governance strategy. Establish the enterprise data governance and data quality standards for the organization’s data management including all business unit level data domains and all global data domains. Configure and maintain of all material, vendor, customer, and distribution centers in SAP. Establish IT policies and procedures. Implement tools and techniques and provide training and support. Conduct data quality audits, develop data validation procedures and provide end user help and guidance to ensure overall data governance. Manage the life cycle of Data Domains from inception to production. Oversee and govern the upstream and down-stream data modifications and deployment processes and procedures. Support the data policy communication across business units and IT. Manage the development and execution of data quality rules and data audit processes and procedures. Manage Data portion of SDLC and initiative development methodology. Provide support to data projects to meet standards. Collaborate between businesses to ensure proper application of data governance policies and alignment of strategic priorities. Provide guidance, tools and resources to promote data governance and alignment. Coordinate accountability and alignment throughout the full data lifecycle through design and implementation of information policy, controls and guidance.

What your background should look like

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer and Information Sciences, Data Sciences or related and 10 years of experience in any position with experience in the following: Managing complex IT applications, including data platforms with multiple integrations utilizing PowerBI, Informatica MDM, iDQ, EDC, and Databricks Unity Catalog; Formulating and delivering on enterprise data management and governance strategy, and implementing tools and processes to create a comprehensive catalog of all data assets in the organization (including managing metadata) to improve data discoverability and understandability; establishing procedures to assess and enhance the quality of data, which includes data cleansing, validation, and the prevention of data errors; Defining and enforcing data access policies, ensuring data privacy, and safeguarding sensitive information against unauthorized access or breaches; Ensuring that data practices comply with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal governance policies; Developing a structured framework including data management, data governance, data stewardship, and data analysis that outlines roles, responsibilities, and processes for managing data across the organization; Implementing software and tools that manage multi domain master data by integrating with ERP, CRM, data platform, custom app and 3rd party data; Establishing reporting mechanisms to monitor data governance compliance and effectiveness, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; Drafting and maintaining policies and procedures that govern how data is collected, stored, processed, and shared within the organization. Must have 7 years of experience in the following: Data governance in the healthcare industry working with supply chain logistics and navigating HIPAA/ PHI regulations, including: Master Data Management (MDM) in the healthcare supply chain, ensuring data quality and integrity, data sharing and integration, and application of data governance principles such as data classification, encryption, access controls, and audit trails to protect sensitive patient information. Must have 4 years of experience in the following: delivering multi domain enterprise master data management solutions, including managing the lifecycle of data domains from inception to production. A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available. Domestic travel up to 4-6 times per year for up to 2 days duration for each travel, in various locations depending on project.
