What you will be doing

PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS :

  • Effectuer des vérifications de contrôle de la qualité des activités/services liés aux programmes selon les PON des CQP
  • Veiller à ce que toutes les politiques et les PON soient rigoureusement suivies et respectées
  • Documenter les observations de contrôle de la qualité dans des modèles de rapport approuvés
  • Veiller à ce que les registres de contrôle de la qualité soient correctement maintenus, archivés et facilement récupérables sur demande
  • Effectuer des contrôles de la qualité pour résoudre les observations dans des délais prédéterminés
  • Faire passer à un niveau supérieur les problèmes critiques ou majeurs de contrôle de qualité, et travailler avec la direction du département touché sur des enquêtes supplémentaires au besoin. Se rendre jusqu’à la haute direction au besoin
  • Maintenir et signaler les mesures appropriées, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, des examens de contrôle de qualité au programme et à la haute direction
  • Collaborer à la création et la mise en œuvre de plans de mesures correctives, au besoin
  • Collaborer activement avec l’équipe du programme et la haute direction pour répondre aux exigences des clients
  • Au besoin, préparer et participer à des audits externes
  • Mettre en œuvre et/ou soutenir l’amélioration continue des processus liés à des programmes spécifiques et/ou aux processus internes d’AmerisourceBergen Canada qui lui sont confiés
  • Participer à des réunions avec des programmes et d’autres départements de soutien
  • Soutenir la formation applicable telle qu’assignée
  • Comprendre et appliquer les accords de confidentialité et de protection de la vie privée d’AmerisourceBergen Canada
  • Responsable de signaler tous les événements indésirables aux départements concernés
  • D’autres fonctions et tâches peuvent lui être confiées de temps à autre, selon les besoins
  • Peut être appelé à travailler sur appel ou de garde

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct quality control verifications of program related activities/services based on PQC SOPs
  • Ensure that all policies and SOPs are strictly followed and adhered to
  • Document quality control observations in approved report templates
  • Ensure quality control records are appropriately maintained, archived and easily retrievable upon request
  • Provide quality controls to resolve observations within predetermined timelines
  • Escalate quality control critical or major issues, and work with the affected departmental management on additional investigations as required. Escalate to senior management as necessary
  • Maintain and report appropriate metrics, including, but not limited to quality control reviews to program and senior management
  • Collaborate in the creation and implementation of corrective action plan, as required
  • Actively collaborate with the program team and senior management to achieve customer requirements
  • As required, prepare for and participate in external audits
  • Implement and/or support continual process improvement related to specific Program and/or internal Cencora Canada processes as assigned
  • Participate in meetings with Programs and other supporting departments
  • Support applicable training as assigned
  • Understand and apply Cencora Canada’s Confidentiality and Privacy Agreements
  • Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments
  • The PQCS associate will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time
  • May be required to be on standby/ on call as part of this role

  • Le bilinguisme, français/anglais, est requis

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent in business or scientific field is preferred

  • Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years related and progressively responsible experience in a similar position

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in quality control and/or quality assurance roles, with preference to health care, pharmaceutical or CRO industry

  • Possession of quality professional certification from an established organization is an asset

  • Familiarity with documentation tools

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstration of sound judgment and critical thinking skills are essential

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong analytical, proactive problem-solving and conceptual skills

  • Strong knowledge of relevant technology, tools and software

  • Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent relationship building skills

  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously and independently and to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines

  • Bilingualism, French/English is required

The successful candidate will may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
