The Trainer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting training for new employees to build and maintain a capable, efficient, and effective workforce that meets the organizational goals by using industry best practices for training development.

Operating Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 AM to 10 PM EST and Sat and Sun 9 AM to 6:30 PM EST (shifts vary)

Technical Equipment, And Remote Office Requirements

  • Ethernet cable access. Wi-Fi-only connectivity is prohibited.
  • Private and secure workspace within your home. Away from noise and distractions.
  • Computer equipment, monitor, and headset are provided.

Job Duties

  • Facilitate initial product and services training, attrition training, and ongoing training, typically in a classroom setting.
  • In partnership with client and internal training organization, maintain training materials to ensure that all staff are kept up to date with any policy, procedures, and application changes that occur.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of specific learning and evaluate training outcomes.
  • Conduct ongoing training to ensure a consistent and complete understanding of the knowledge and skills required to report accurate and timely data collections.
  • Secure training space, classroom set-up, training resources, and collection and entry of training data.
  • Monitor the progress of trainees and provide continuous support to improve knowledge and understanding to aid in job performance.
  • Maintain training materials to ensure that all staff are kept up to date with any policy, procedures, and application changes that occur.
  • Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of training based on formal and informal feedback from employees and customers.
  • Complete CSR observations to observe trends and make recommendations for changes in scripting and training.
  • Complete peer audits to share best practices and aid in improving peer facilitation and knowledge skills.
  • Perform CSR tasks such as taking calls as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 - 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 - 2 yrs training experience in a virtual class environment, preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, especially prescription coverage support for providers and/or patients, is preferred.
  • Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using motivation and staff development expertise.
  • Proven presentation skills.
  • Experience in adult classroom situations.
  • Practical knowledge of managing a dynamic and diverse classroom environment.
  • Understanding of the US healthcare industry.
