HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (REMOTE)
TSP is seeking an agile and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead people operations and strategies. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in talent management, employee experience, learning and development, employee relations, performance management, and total rewards. This role reports to the Head of Human Resources.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
  • 5-7 years of HR management experience, with a strong background in talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development, along with a solid understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, compensation, and employee engagement.
  • Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
  • Strong experience in Training and Development, Employee Relations, and Compliance & Risk Mitigation Required.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker’s compensation.
  • Experience with payroll processing and proficiency in payroll software, particularly ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity.
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills; ability to gain consensus and act within a matrix team environment; Ability to work collaboratively and influencing manner that drives business action.

  • Talent Management - The HR Manager will strategically identify, develop, and retain high-performing employees to meet the company's current and future needs.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding - The HR Manager will oversee the full recruitment cycle, from creating job postings to hiring top talent that aligns with the company’s culture and goals.
  • Employee Relations - Serving as a bridge between management and employees, the HR Manager will foster an inclusive, respectful, and engaged workplace culture.
  • Performance Management & Development - The HR Manager will design and manage performance management systems that promote individual growth and align with organizational objectives.
  • Training & Development Design and Facilitation - The HR Manager will take an active role in designing, implementing, and facilitating training programs that promote skill development and align with organizational goals.
  • Data-driven decision-making - The HR Manager will leverage data analytics to inform HR strategies, improve processes, and drive organizational success.
  • Compliance - The HR Manager ensures the organization adheres to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Benefits & 401k Administration - The HR Manager will partner closely with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) to effectively manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Payroll Processing - The HR Manager will manage payroll processes in collaboration with providers (e.g., ADP, Paylocity) to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll operations.
