The Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) program is a 10-course program offered at the graduate level, primarily on a distance education basis, using a problem-based learning model supplemented by web- based sessions. The Program currently has the following Sessional Instructional Assistant position available for the Fall term and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are not current University of Toronto students. No late applications can be considered.

Course title: Advanced Forensic Investigation & Psychological Aspects of White Collar Crime (IFA 2905H)

# of Positions: 1 (SIA)

Dates of appointment: November 5, 2024 – January 22, 2025

Description of Duties: Marking the student assignment and student exam in accordance with the marking guide developed in conjunction with the Instructor, and in accordance with the grading policies of the University of Toronto; consultation with the Director and Instructor as required.

Est. Total Required Hours: 20-25 hours
Rate: $52.26per hour
Enrolment: 15-20 students

Description of course: Building upon the introduction to investigative techniques in earlier courses, IFA 2905 will continue the coverage and introduce topics germane to forensic accountants in the future. In addition, to build an understanding of the psychology and practices of financial/white collar criminals, current research findings, studies, and examples will be examined.

Minimum qualifications: Professional Accounting Designation, Masters in Forensic Accounting and Investigative & Forensic Accounting Experience preferred.
